upgrade 12/aug X HDMI X S810B

Olá pessoal, utilizo meu S810B pela saída HDMI DV/out 480p/576p, em uma tv s[*]msVng fullHD.

Funciona perfeitamente. A única coisa que percebi, foi que qdo ligo a tv e ligo o receptor, a tela fica verde por uns 6 segundos e depois aparece a imagem.

Alexfitinge, por favor responda as 7 perguntas que tem no post meu aí pra cima. E também se der coloque as informações adicionais, que aparecem quando digita o 88888.

Já deu pra perceber que tem um subtipo problemático (além do meu já achei vários reclamando do mesmo problema na internet) e um subtipo ok.
Se descobrirmos quais são os subtipos, talvez consigamos melhorar para todos (inclusive evitar que os ok fiquem estragados com alguma atualização de firmware...).

Ou seja, isso só vai ajudar todos os donos de S810B!

Iaí magrão, beleza? Também tenho uma samsung full hd. Quando tu diz que a saída hdmi funciona perfeitamente tu quer dizer que a imagem aparece mas a definição é 480 por 576, ou tu conseguiu imagem hd? Se tu conseguiu resolver o problema do bug do 810b então me diz como por que a imagem aqui em casa é ruim mesmo usando a saída hdmi. Valeu.

(at least for some kind of S810B...seems we have 2 kinds of S810B in the market...read previous posts)

How can we solve this? Is there a way to trick the firmwares to help all S810B work fine in 480p/576p?????

Thanks for the report , as I am seeing is only a problem on Evolution box S810B,
and also only with new osd firmware.
Please test firm 12-08-09 with old OSD and report if problem is present ( No P scan ).

My S810B is AzAmerica (not Evolution) and the problem was already happening with 12-08-09 firmware. And in fact there are some people with Evolution that do not have the problem.

This may help you debug it:

I posted this bug also in another Brazilian forum (if you like I can send you the link) and asked for people to answer some questions. Here are mine (with the P bug) and another without it.

Questions:
1-Which S810B brand is yours? AzAmérica or Evolution Box?
2-Is it Tuner Type 0 ou 2? (see Menu >> Tools >> Information >> type 88888)
3-Which brand/model is your TV set?
4-Which brand is your HDMI cable? Whats the size of it?
5-Which firmware is your S810B running?
6-What are the options in you A/V menu in S810B?
7-How is your TV set configured for standard/resolution? Automatic or forced NSTS/PAL/480i/480p/...?


ONE WITH THE BUG (mine):
1-AzAmerica
2-Tuner Type 0
3-Samsung 40 Full HD / Toshiba 32 HD / LG 42 HD (I've tested with all 3)

And just to let it clear:
- it is not only me having this problem! I've also seem other people claiming Sobre it! Even here in the Az-World forum!
- when my S810B was completely virgin, that is, just out of the box with original firmware, I plugged it in TV with 480p and it was working fine! I'm pretty sure Sobre that (but unfortunately I did not make a dump of it before your upgrades). So it suggests it is really a software bug and not a defective hardware.

1- make a backup of your actual firm usb upgrade >> dump
2- load factory firmware for your receiver (is in download area) s810B_tt0
3- check if problem is present ....
4- from your backup dump.abs update maincode only ... check again.
5- update S17 only ( bootloader ) ... check again.
If you need to get back to your channel list just upload user.db only.

Please post report.-

A maior sacanagem que ja me aconteceu. Fazem uns 3 meses que eu comprei o s 810b e até agora tenho que ficar olhando essa imagem horrível que o deco oferece. Cara, tenho uma tv lcd full hd, será que alguém entende o que eu to sentindo, e agora, ainda por cima, saiu o 900 hd. Acho que eu e outras pessoas que têm o s 810b vamos ficar no esquecimento e nunca teremos o nosso problema de imagem hdmi resolvido. Não sou vidente mas vou cantar a pedra pra todo mundo. Quem deu azar de comprar como eu se fuck, quem for comprar a partir de agora com certeza não vai comprar o 810b, ou seja ficaremos abandonados, seremos um pequeno grupo de esquecidos, não valerá a pena se empenhar em resolver nosso problema ja que a fila andou e ja surgiu o 900 hd. Espero do fundo da minha alma, estar errado.

Your S810B is just like mine! Except for the "compile_time". With your help seems we are getting there! Thanks! (by the way, it would be easier with the help of other bug and no bug S810B owners...)

Seems compile_time is the root cause, isn't it? Can you please focus on that?
And if so, how can I upgrade my BUG one in order to have a compile time just like receivers 2 or 3, so I can double check this?

By the way, I'm traveling and couldn't till now do the tests you asked me on post #24 yet. But I'll do it tomorrow and let you know de results!!! By the way, how should I do step 2? See my doubt in post #27, please.
